| Description |
| This program is available to all counties and municipalities. The Department continues to work toward our goal of achieving 1,000 miles of dedicated bikeways in New Jersey. Special consideration will be given to bikeways that are physically separated from motorized vehicular traffic by an open space or barrier. |
| This program is designed to promote alternate modes of transportation. These funds are available for local projects that will result in the creation of a new independent bicycle facility. Number of projects varies every year based on available funds. |
