| Transit Villages 2015 |
| The Transit Village Initiative helps to redevelop and revitalize communities around transit facilities to make them an appealing choice for people to live, work and play, thereby reducing reliance on the automobile. The Transit Village Grant Program is designed to assist municipalities who have been formally designated as Transit Villages by the Commissioner of Transportation and the inter-agency Transit Village Task Force. Funds projects within 0.5 miles of major transit facilities. |
