| Description |
| Subject to funding appropriation, a Local Aid Infrastructure Fund is established to address emergencies and regional needs throughout the State. Any county or municipality may apply at any time.
These projects are approved at the discretion of the Commissioner. Payment of project costs is the same as the Municipal Aid Program. Under this program a county or municipality may also apply for funding for pedestrian safety and bikeway projects. |
| 10% of the total State Aid Program subject to the annual appropriation by the Legislature. These funds are established to address emergent or regional needs throughout the State. Any county or municipality may apply at any time. These projects are approved at the discretion of the Commissioner. Approximately 50 to100 projects are funded each year. |
