| Highway Safety Fund Application 2013 |
| The Safety First Legislation established the “Highway Safety Fund”, where all monies collected in enforcement activities along the Safe Corridor locations will be deposited in the fund. The NJDOT established a grant program to fund local law enforcement agencies for special enforcement efforts. The moneys in the account shall be used exclusively for highway safety projects and programs, education, enforcement, capital improvements and such other related measures deemed appropriate by NJDOT and the Division of State Police. |
