| Individuals with Disabilities Education Act Part B Application 2017 |
| The New Jersey Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs, makes available federal entitlement funds to eligible Local Education and State Agencies to provide wsupport for the excess costs of educating students with disabilities ages three through twenty-one. Embedded in the IDEA are principles of stronger accountability for results, increased flexibility and local control, expanded options for parents and an emphasis on teaching methods that have been proven to work. The combined application allows local education and state agencies the opportunity to address the needs of all students, plan activities for parents and teachers, combine resources, and track results in a single application process. |
